We’d like to thank the Be Kind Sydney fund for their generous $10,000 emergency relief grant which will go towards supporting women in urgent need.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, Tenancy Managers have made almost 350 wellbeing calls to our most vulnerable tenants. Some are struggling with isolation, while many have been unable to leave their home for basic goods. Be Kind Sydney funding will help us deliver essential boxes to those in greatest need, as we continue to check in with all 1,000 of our tenants and homelessness support service clients. We will also provide data bundles and smart phones to help keep as many as possible connected to services and loved ones. 

The $1 million Be Kind Sydney COVID-19 Appeal has been launched by the Sydney Community Foundation and the Sydney Women's Fund in response to the pandemic. The initiative asks Sydneysiders to give what they can to help keep frontline charities servicing women in need.
